Obituary

Salvatore Charles DeMartino of Levittown, Providence, Dallas, San Diego, and wherever else he called home throughout his life passed away on December 12th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy you had to be lucky enough to experience to understand. Born on September 26, 1990 to Kathleen and Antonio DeMartino, Sal was the cherished firstborn and a guiding light for his siblings—A.J., Sabrina, and Christina—as well as a beloved uncle to Olivia and Noah. From the moment he entered this world, Sal radiated warmth, joy, and love that truly touched everyone he encountered. He greeted each day as an opportunity to embrace life with open arms, seeing every moment as a new adventure and the world as a friend. He lived a life so full of light that those around him couldn’t help but bloom. A life, so remarkable it felt as though the world itself paused to sing his name in chorus when he entered a room. His physical stature was only matched by his giant, infectious personality—a blend of humor, kindness, and boundless spirit. Though his time here was far too brief, Sal’s impact was profound, touching the hearts of so many that despite our world being a little dimmer since he’s left, the sky seems a bit brighter. Hakuna Matata Salvatore, we will all look for you in the sunsets.
