It is with heartbreaking sadness we announce the passing of Jacqueline A. Simons on November 7, 2024. She was 58. Beloved wife of the late Gerard. Treasured fiancé of Angelo Graziosi. Devoted mother of Gina McCarthy and her husband Joseph Sciarrotto, and Olivia Simons. Loving daughter of the late Michael and Marcia Curran. Adored sister of Kathleen, Michael and Shane. As a Supervisor for The Board of Elections, Jacqueline took pride in the democratic process and found great fulfillment in her job. She loved the summer, especially her time with her family on the beach. She was an amazing mother. She treated everyone with kindness and always had a big smile on her face that lit up every room she entered. Everyone who knew her was better for it and we were proud to call her mom. We know she’s at peace in heaven. We Love You Mom. Family will receive friends Sunday, 2 pm – 7 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Avenue (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY.
