Jimmy was married to my cousin MaryAnn and I remember him so well. What a sweetheart! We shared our love for baseball. Have not seen Jimmy since Uncle Will passed away and have not seen my cousins, his children, Donna, Kenny and Melanie for many eons. I want to send my heartfelt condolences to his family.
Your cousin,
Debbie Lotz (Bull)

Jimmy and I patrolled the left side of the outfield for the Seagulls for more than 10 years. He was a great ballplayer. Many fond memories. Rest in peace brother.

So sorry to hear of my Cousin Jimmy's passing. His presence was a big part of my early years spent at the Martin household.
Summer pool parties and Sunday pierogies, homemade by Aunt Winnie of course! Last time I spoke with Jimmy it was at Uncle Frank's funeral. It was a long conversation about public storm water pipes, which was an issue I was grappling with at the time. Jimmy gave me some good ideas and lots of empathy...it was a nice memory of him and one I will cherish. I'll miss him.

Sending Prayer's and strength to all of you. It's been quite a while since seeing Jimmy. I remember him at the house when I was younger, helping out mom after dad passed and stopping in.
Always handsome, smiling away with those blue eyes. His smile is etched in our hearts. Cousin Jimmy has joined the crew up in heaven, no doubt. May he rest in peace.

Even though it was only a year, I was honored to share a softball field with you. You were such a talented player for ANY age, and you were an even better person. You will be greatly missed by all your team mates through the years, and I hope they play ball in heaven. See you down the road Jimmy!

Some people just do more in life than others. They have a way of being noticed in everything they do. .and with everyone they meet. . People like Jim Martin are missed by so many. I'm just one of many that will miss Jimmy Martin. We shared interest in softball ,bowling, and cars The first time I saw Jim was while he was batting with the Seagulls. I told him he looked like Duke Snider and he smiled. Jimmy Martin became my teammate and we became friends. A friendship I will always cherish

Jimmy played for the Jaguars in the LI Senior Softball Association for the past three seasons. He made a huge impact on our team first and foremost as a man of tremendous character. He was a fiercely competitive player who could and would play anywhere, an outstanding sportsman who was always a team first guy, completely unselfish and had zero ego. Most importantly, we knew him as a family first man, always. He had a profound impact on me and many others in a relatively short time. He will always be a Jaguar and legendary role model in my life and many others.

I will always remember my cousin Jimmy as a great guy. I have a picture of us (which I can’t yet find) at the beach in Rockaway when his family would come to visit with us. Wonderful memories!
