I’m so very sorry for loss of your Father, brother, husband and to all the family and friends who will miss Bruce.
I have such wonderful memories of my cousin Bruce. I remember getting stung by a bee as a little girl crying my eyes out and he brought a little kitten who had just been born on the side of our Woodmont, Ct house. Made me stop crying immediately. Such a sweet kind loving gesture. That was his heart.
He taught me how to water ski which we did almost everyday in the summer. I’d go to the gas station with him to get the gas! I shared that time with him feeling his love. He was such a patient teacher.
I loved our family dinners in Long Island. Aunt Sally would make us the best dinners. I just loved being around all my family and especially my cousins.
We celebrated Christmas… opened our presents by the fireplace in Plainview together.
When we got older… he dated a good friend of mine and I a good friend of his.
As life went on he married Carol had Noelle. I started working for MCI in Long Island. On Friday nights I would swing by pick up Noelle rent movies from Blockbuster go back to Brooklyn and bing watch movies all weekend! Yes there was binging back in the day . I would hang out in Seaford with the family spend weekends there. I loved spending time with my cousins.
I just am so grateful for all the wonderful memories of Cousin Bruce. He definitely was someone I loved very much. Our last words to each other were “I love you”. I hold that so dear.
Rest well my Cousin… thank you for blessing my life
Cousin Robin
