What a great loss for St. Anthony's. The only thing bigger than his stature was his heart. Being also a retired Transit Police officer, we shared many stories. His sense of humor and love for the students he made safe will surely be missed. Rest in peace my friend, until we meet again.

We started as partners in Anti-Crime in the City Wide Task Force with the NYC Transit Police back in 1989. And became fast friends and Godfathers to each other kids. John will be sorely missed a better partner and friend you could not find.
