I knew Barbara from the time she was the Animal Shelter Director at APS in Chapel Hill. She helped us with Splash, Indy, Pip and WeeChi and I recently appealed to her for help with our latest dog acquisition, Goose, and she was more than happy to provide her advice and offer her services. Barbara used to pet sit for me and got to know plenty of my kitties over the years. She was a reliable constant in a sometimes whacky world of animal rescue. I trusted her guidance and will miss her a lot.
