Obituary

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Rosalie Tralongo Sidoti, who was called home on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at the age of 89. Rosalie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and was blessed with a large, loving family and many long-time friends. She was known for her sense of humor, thoughtfulness, and being a strong, soft-spoken woman with an incredibly generous spirit and many acts of kindness. She is survived by her six children and their spouses, Lori Ann S. Clymas (Rick), Gary J. Sidoti (Mary Ann), Dean T. Sidoti (Karen), Gregg M. Sidoti (Susan), Mark T. Sidoti (Maureen), Douglas J. Sidoti (Jacqueline), and eleven dear grandchildren, Alex Clymas, Gary and Alyssa Sidoti, Vincent and Sal Sidoti, Charles and Spencer Sidoti, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Brianna Sidoti, and Olivia Grace Sidoti.

Rosalie graduated from St. John’s University in Queens, NY, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and was an officer of the SJU Alumni Association for many years. She was a homemaker who proudly raised her six children, and also worked part-time as an accountant, retiring from the National Catholic Development Conference in Hempstead, NY. Rosalie was predeceased by her parents, Diego and Catarina Tralongo, her brother David (Josephine) Tralongo, her sister Mary (Aldo) Clemente, and the love of her life and husband of 49 years, New York State Assistant Attorney General Sall J. Sidoti, who cherished and adored her from the day they met throughout their married life together. Rosalie is at peace, and we can all find comfort in the decades of memories made together as ...” to live in hearts we leave behind, is not to die.” To share a memory and/or photograph of Rosalie, please visit https://osheafuneral.com/Home.
