Geraldine Faggione passed away suddenly on November 4, 2022 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late David. Devoted mother of Marco (Diane), John, Robert, and Carolyn Capalbo (Dan). Cherished grandmother of Lauren, Cara, Jared, Julia, and Jack. Proud great-grandmother of Olivia and Antonella. Adored sister of the late Albert and Franklin. Born and raised in Flatbush Brooklyn to John and Ana Santangelo. Geraldine met David, the love of her life, after he came home from WWII. They were married right away and moved out to East Meadow where they raised their family. Geraldine was a remarkable woman with a sharp intellect and an attention for detail. She was destined to be an administrator or supervisor, but the minute her children were born they became the center of her life. Geraldine gave everything to her family. She was our rock and our heart. We will carry her with us forever. Family will receive friends Monday, 4 pm – 8 pm, the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Avenue (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, 9:45 am, at St. Raphael R.C. Church in East Meadow, NY.
