Obituary

Frank J. Ventimiglia passed away on October 31, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was 66 years of age. Dearest Son of the late Frank J. and Felicia. Beloved husband of Marie. Devoted father of Frank and his wife Amy, and Matthew and his wife Elisabeth. Cherished grandfather of Ava, Emma, Madison, Shane, and Lilly. Loving brother of Mark and his wife Mary Ellen, and the late Grace Bello and her husband Al. Frank had a tremendous zest for life and loved being around people. He enjoyed a fullfiling career as a Specialist Broker and Member of the NY Stock Exchange. Though a man of the city, he treasured the peace and quiet of nature. Time spent hunting, fishing or just sitting by the fire with a scotch in his hand brought him great joy. Frank was a long-standing boisterous Met and Islander fan. But in the end, family was the center of his life and Marie was the cornerstone. Frank and Marie filled their household with warmth and laughter and raised their boys with an understanding of faith, hope, and love. He treasured every moment he spent with his grandchildren. We will carry him in our hearts forever. Family will receive friends Thursday, 2 pm – 4 pm and 7 pm – 9 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Avenue (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, 11:45 am, at St. Raphael R.C. Church in East Meadow, NY. Interment to follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Old Westbury.
