My beautiful Aunt Lina, may God bless your soul. You were always there for me, for talks and walks, all the summers I spent with you, your smile I will always keep close to my heart. The Sunday meals you prepared with such love, the olives you jarred, your special gravy and your delicious homemade manicotti and braciole, making your sauce with the tomatoes you jarred in the summer, the meal was not complete without your delicious home made pizza dolce for dessert made with ricotta that had to be from Arthur Avenue.
All the times you were there for us when mommy could not be, walking us to school or picking us up from PS14, taking us for carvel ice cream was such a treat, coming to our plays, and shows, graduations and celebrations.
Sharing the joy of our wedding, the birth of our children and treating me and them as you would your own. You called me sweetie...truth is you were the sweet one. xo I loved you then and always will.
