Margaret (Peggy) Warde passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Peggy was a native of Bronx, NY, raised her family in Hempstead, NY and most recently resided in Yorktown, VA following her retirement as a registered nurse for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James, and her sister, Sr. Mary Therese Hannaway. Loving mother of Marybeth (David) Young, Anne Warde and Susan Warde (Andreas Pichaeli) and loving grandmother to Connor (Kayla) Young, Liam Young and Declan Young. She is also survived by her siblings, Sr. Bernadette Hannaway, John (Kathy) Hannaway and Anne (Jack) Walker. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Lungevity Foundation and The Parish Thrift Store in Poquoson, VA. Visitation will be held at Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Home (603 Wantagh Avenue, Wantagh, New York) on Friday, April 1st from 2-4PM and 6-9PM.
