May you rest in peace. I have lots of memories sitting in the kitchen talking for hours when I was much younger. I spent lots of time at your home and I am grateful for your generosity. Joan is the best and, in my memories, she always will be. I swear I spent more time in your home than I did in my own. Partly because of your kids but mostly because of your kindness and generosity. Watching you raise your family and look after your husband was an inspiration...I even got some of my OCD from you...but I draw the line at ironing and those neat lines in the carpet.
I love you Joan! And, while I have always missed you, I miss you even more now.
