Grandma,
You were my best friend, mentor, counsel, shoulder to cry on, hand to hold, ear to listen, a light in the dark and so much more to so many. You persevered through hardship and lived fully as a woman with vigorous strength and a joy all your own. You provided a beautiful foundation for our family. Your faith shone with a virtuous and holy light. The compassion and love you devoted, will forever be ingrained in our hearts. The gifts you bestowed upon us, tangible and otherwise, were more than we could have ever desired. We couldn't have asked for a more pure and wonderful matriarch to our family. You provided a compassionate loving home, right inside your heart. I am comforted knowing you'll always be with me and watching over me from the heavens. I love you Grandma. Theresa F Gencorelli was a beloved Mother of six, Grandmother of nine Great-grandmother of one, Sister to eleven siblings and a friend to many.
She will be remembered for her boundless ability to love, for her kindness, strength, determination and courage. For her intelligence and great sense of humor.

I had always known Theresa as "grandma sweet'ums" and whenever I had gone up to visit her she fit that description perfectly. She was a blessing to have as a grandmother and I looked forward to visiting her every time. With her passing I'm saddened but also reminded of the great times we shared.
