In memory of my dear friend, Robert. I can’t believe how fast this illness took you. It’s a consolation to know you are no longer suffering and are now resting in peace. Robert was such a beautiful and sensitive soul. He had a big brother feel to him and was always there when I needed him. I never imagined that my long time pal would depart this world so soon. Robert gave me this ornament around 2003. I recall finally seeing the movie, It’s A Wonderful Life, and I was obsessed with these ornaments from the movie but couldn’t find it. Robert actually called around and found the ornament at a Walgreens. I remember opening it up for Christmas and being so touched, I actually cried! I will always cherish it along with the wonderful friendship we had all these years. It still doesn’t feel real to me. Rest In Peace, my friend. You will be missed. Love always, Irene

I had the pleasure of working with Robert in Fresh Pond depot. Robert was a great co worker, friend, and just a great person. When ever the chips were down Robert was there to help put them back together. We could not have accomplished what we did with out Robert’s loyalty and support. My brother you will be truly missed. Rob was a great guy . I have had the pleasure of working with him at Fresh Pond Depot and even with me being with the union and him being management there was never a confrontational feeling or disrespect. He was a true Gentleman and will sorely be missed by his Fresh Pond family and myself . Rest in Peace my friend.

I followed Rob's journey through cancer and prayed that his body would heal. In a way, his body is now healed and no longer is he in pain. Rob, you brought love to Christina's life and to Snow White, Athena and Boy. You will be missed. To Christina and Rob's family, may you find comfort and peace of mind in your mourning.
