The last time I saw my Gram was in June. I had bought tickets to come see her almost 3 weeks ago. I would call her every night with the count down until I would see her again. We were both excited and so looking forward to it. The night I arrived, she passed away before I could get to her. I have called my Gram every evening between 730 and 8pm every day for over 18 years. I am heartbroken and will sorely miss her. I know she is now in Heaven with my Grandpop and she is smiling down on us all. She is no longer bedridden and is at peace. I am going to miss our evening calls. Laughing, joking around about me coming to get her and take her out dancing or bowling, or talking about Brooklyn or our time in Italy. Every night we would close our calls with this and so I will say it one last time. See ya later alligator. I love you always Gram. Good night! Michael.
