Mrs. Novotny is my brother Steve’s mother-in-law. We were so blessed to see her at family parties and to know her …always smiling, always interested in what you were saying and had the best laugh ever! We always felt welcomed whenever there was a party in her home. You are all in my prayers during this difficult time. Sending my love and a few tears ….

I remember my Aunt Dorothy, who was also my Godmother. She always had a beautiful smile and would make breakfast for my father and I, especially because she would worry about Frank’s (my dad’s) health. I can remember her at the stove while we would be sitting at the round kitchen wooden table. Uncle Rich would sometimes be there too and we were always glad to see each other. I loved looking at all of Aunt Dorothy’s paintings as well, because she was so artistically talented. We will always remember your life and celebrate the the Beautiful memories we have of you! Love, Denise Blackburn

My Aunt Dorothy was a very loving Aunt and always so nice. I have fond cherished memories of being with Aunt Dorothy & Uncle Richie on holidays and always knowing they were happy to see me and my siblings. Between the food, the jokes, and my great & fun cousins, it was always a fun time. Aunt Dorothy made all that possible. May Peace be with her. Her positive presence was felt then and now, and may that last forever. Especially for her children. May Peace be with her. God Bless. -Cousin Tommy.

There has been many, sadly too many years, since I have last seen or talked to Dorothy. My heart is saddened of her loss because she is my Aunt who I have vivid fond childhood memories of but most of all because she is my beloved father's sister who he loved so dearly. My heart goes out to my cousins and Uncle Tom because I know the pain that you feel when we lose a person that we love. Though I know the pain you feel is so great, I do hope everyone can take some comfort knowing that my dad "Frankie" is holding her tight with great love and happiness being reunited with his sister who meant so much to him. Love, Patricia Boden

I moved away from the NY area years ago and have always tried to remain in touch with family best I could over the years. I have fond memories of Cousin Dorothy, and her brothers on family visits when I was growing up in PA & NJ. Though we have lived miles apart I have kept Dorothy & family dear to my heart. So words can’t express my sadness but I want Dorothy’s family to find the comfort of God in helping them through this sad time. Rest in Christ’s Love now Dorothy

The Novotny's were my next door neighbors when I lived in Wantagh. Sue Novotny became my best friend and her mother Dorothy became like a second mother to me. She was always kind and was one of the first people to tell me she was proud of me when I graduated college and became a nurse.May she rest in peace.

I will certainly miss my sister. All I can say is that in my life long memory, as we grew up , she always looked after me as her baby brother. She was a kind person, no malice in her heart . Just love. I am at a loss for words to express my feelings. I am sure she is in a happy place with Richie. We will all miss her dearly.
Her loving brother Tom and Noga

Words cannot express what Mr.and Mrs.Novotny have given to me . First and foremost their daughter my wife Susan. I literally would have nothing without them.I was a 21 year old kid with a ponytail asking to marry their daughter and Mr Novotny was a big strong intimidating man. But he found out I was a working man with nothing but good intentions for fSusan. The Novotnys helped us so much after we bought our home and Mr Novotny taught me so much. I can never repay them for what they’ve given me and I miss them dearly
