Matt and I and some others were all a part of the same friend group in middle school. I’m devastated by this news. I’m so sorry for your loss.❤️

Without Matt, my experience at USC would’ve been boring to say the least. Matt was always someone I ALWAYS be myself around and always have a good time with. He was truly a great person and I will forever cherish the memories that we share together and never let his light go out. He left a lasting impact on me.

I will forever cherish all of our memories and all the time we spent together. You always calling me “mother hen” because I’d try acting like your and jess’s mom, but it was because I always wanted the best for you and wanted to keep you guys save and of course because I liked to be bossy. I love how close me you and Jess are, and I am grateful with how close we are with mom and dad, every dinner We’d sit at the table and spend together, every time we’d say goodnight, leave the house, get off the phone or even just while texting we’d always end it with I love you.
I could be here for days and days reliving the memories but one of mine and Matt’s favorites that we always brought up was when he was In elementary school I was helping him with his homework and he spilt his drink all over it and I looked and him and said “if you didn’t want to do your homework you could of just told me” it was literally the funniest thing at the time to us
Matt was the shinning light to all of our lives, the life of the party with his prancing pony that he started when he was young and still did to this day, and that laugh that everyone knows and loves. I always said Every video Id take has you either talking or laughing in the background
you could talk to anyone about anything, you stood up for what you believed and would never back down. you were the smartest person I knew, I’d always go to you if I didn’t know the answer and you’d always make me feel dumb or make fun of me like siblings do. We’d get on each other’s nerves and 5 mins later we’d be laughing or running out to the store or to get food or coffee together.
Liam was blessed to have you as not only his uncle but his god father. He looked up to you and you could tell how much he loved you just by the look in his eyes or when I’d tell him you were coming with us to the stores or somewhere he would get all excited.
We look forward to saying our prayer and talking to you every night before we go to bed and will continue that tradition.
I just want you to know how proud I am of all your accomplishments you’ve done more in your 20 years then a lot of people I know. & Don’t think I forgot about that 100,000$ GTR you told me you’d by me when you became rich
You meant the world to all of us, this heartbreak is like nothing we could imagine. This isn’t goodbye, it’s I’ll see you later alligator
Continue to watch over each and everyone of us. We love you Matt

My best memories with Matthew were going on vacations and when you stayed at my house. I loved having you and your sisters around and Ashley and Jessica loved you so much as we do.
I know Kelly greeted you. She was always like a little mommy to Dan like Ashley and Jessica were to you so I know she will take care of you.
Matt I will think of you everyday with love in my heart until we meet again. Love you Always, Aunt Donna

Matthew, I remember being so excited to be a big sister. I remember drawing a picture & waiting for them to bring my baby brother home. From that day on, I have never stopped loving you or caring for you. We would always play together, I used to dress you up. I remember staying up playing board games during daylight savings and we watched the clock turn back time and we were so surprised that we got to watch it happen. One time we were pretending to be Pokémon and somehow your sock got caught in my braces, it's one memory we would constantly look back on and laugh about. We would spend our summers with Grandma Ceil and she would always have something fun for us to do, going to the movies, McDonald's, 711 and iHop. We went on many family vacations to TN, PA, FL. We had so many adventures together! Ziplining, rock climbing, your first roller coaster, concerts with Sean and Rachel, singing Karaoke (always Dust in the Wind by Kansas). Me you and Ashley would always go to car shows, and movies. I remember that one year you took me and Ashley for a combined gift to the Melting Pot. You bought us tennis rackets we used once 5 years ago and you just asked for them last month so you could go play with your friends. I remember me and Sean taking you for water samples and your tree project, going on the fishing boat and at lakes. Me and you would always talk about life, you were the one person who could get me to talk for hours. I can't keep up a conversation, but you sure could! You were hilarious, intelligent, selfless, and kind-hearted. You volunteered for many different things including; Good Samaritan Hospital, building bridges in Costa Rica, and being part of St. Peter's youth group. To quote from your LinkedIn "I am dedicated to not only finance, but to volunteerism and bettering the world around me piece by piece " and that you always did. My baby brother, I have loved you all your life, and will continue to love you and keep your memory alive. Party on❤

Matt it is hard to believe that you were taken from us this soon. My heart is shattered into pieces. I will cherish all of our memories together. I am so happy you said yes to come with me to Hersey and taken me on some great roller coasters. I know you will be watching over us all. Until me meet again. I LOVE YOU with all my heart. Rest In Peace
