HENEGHAN – Catherine celebrated her transition to heaven on June 23rd, 2021 at the age of 89. Catherine joins her husband and best friend, Jack as they revel in God’s presence. She was a devoted and loving mother to her 6 children: Kevin and his wife Eileen, Bart and his wife Carol, Steve and his wife Martha, Jack and his wife Karen, Eileen Miller and her husband Dan, and Jim and his wife Laura. She treasured her 39 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and was known affectionately by all as ‘Babe’. She fondly remembered her Bronx childhood and her time with her closest friends, The Nine Muses. A longtime resident of the Point Lookout community, you could find her serving at church as a eucharistic minister, volunteering at Mercy Hospital with Jack, playing bridge and mah-jongg with her Biddie Club cohorts, traveling through Florida with wonderful friends, or riding her bike around the 5 boroughs of NYC with her husband and kids. O’Shea Funeral Home at 603 Wantagh Ave (Exit 28N SS Pkwy) Wantagh, NY. Her Funeral will be held Thursday, 11am, at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal R.C. Church in Point Lookout, NY.
