To the Family of Audrey Stone,
I am heartbroken to learn of the passing of this amazing woman, Audrey Stone. She was a mentor and counselor to me in my early days of joining Carol Matthews Vessel Documentation and the American Vessel Documentation Association. I had the great pleasure of knowing this amazing lady since 2004, and our annual conferences were always a time of learning, camaraderie,
and merriment. Audrey's wit and insight, her strength of purpose and integrity were greatly appreciated by those her knew her. Audrey was a New Yorker through and through - bold, intelligent, fearless and resolved. I will miss her always.
Rest gently, Dear Friend. My world was a better place with you in it, and I am a better person for knowing you.
