Joann, Thomas and Jen, Tom "Finn" was one of my closest and truest friends for more than 20 years. We got to hang out a few times, but we talked on the phone constantly for 20+ years, because he would never get on an airplane to visit me, despite my pleas. We would talk "Roy Buchanan" for a little bit, then we'd spend most of the time talking about you, his family. He was always so proud of what Jen and Thomas were doing at each stage of their lives. Tom was like a brother to me, always thoughtful, kind, laughing if I gave him a hard time. He was always encouraging my forays into playing guitar. I'll always play Jr. Walker's "Hot Cha" the way he showed me and think of good old Tom-o whenever I hear Roy play "The Messiah." My heart goes out to the Finnegan family and everyone will badly miss my pal. With love and affection, Phil Carson

Tommy is saved ... he was a gift to us all. Now by Gods awesome Grace he rests with the angels. I’m thinking about how hard this world is now. And how This Manx heart and soul were so soft and beautiful. I can’ feel the pain ... his family children are gonna need prayer. We will cover them in prayer. I mostly knew Tommy and his family from our annual golf outing and it was very clear he was a very special man. He loved that day every year and was always sure to tell me. His love for his family and sincerity with his word were incredible traits that I will always remember.
