Obituary
Michael DiCecco of N. Bellmore, NY passed away on January 19th, 2021 after a courageous fight. He was our valiant “Warrior.” A proud US Navy Korean War Veteran. An amazing husband and father. A man who loved sports and to bask in the sunlight. He was adored by all who knew him. A man full of courage, who battled so many obstacles regarding his health, but always managed to keep a smile on his face. Michael was a selfless man who put his loved ones ahead of himself , especially his beloved wife, Barbara Ann, who he is now reunited with in heaven. He was a loving father to Barbara Dumenko (John), Grace Ferner (Robert), Linda Sheck (Anthony), Peter (Ricci), Michael (Jennifer). The cherished grandfather of Michael, Matthew, Christopher, Gianna, A.J., Ashley, Bianca, Marni, and Chloe. Family will receive friends Thursday, 4 pm – 8 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Home, 2515 N. Jerusalem Rd. (Exit 25N SS PKWY) East Meadow, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, 9:45 am, at St. Raphael R.C. Church in East Meadow, NY.
