As I sit here I think about you and how sad I feel that you have left this earth to soon I know heaven has gotten a beautiful angel. You are with your mom now playing music and enjoying time with her and our grandparents. I so vividly remember the times my parents and I came back from Germany and always stayed with your mom and dad. Your smile lit up a room and wow that hair! I will never forget the times Julie and I would sit in the basement and listen to you playing your tunes! The times you came to florida to visit with your parents, Eddie and Julie and we went to Disney World and the lake. The time you all came to Germany we always had fun. You will be missed so much♥️ You have made a beautiful home with your wife and have raised 3 amazing girls. I know how proud you were of them. We didn’t speak often but when we did I could feel your smile in my heart. RIP my loving cousin. Prayers for your family

To my son -
I miss you very much. You were a good son, you loved your mother, may she rest in peace, and you loved your wife and three beautiful daughters.
I watched you grow from a little boy playing baseball, to a young man with an electric guitar and a fast car with a loud sound system. You did love your music. You worked hard and started your own business. I had access to your system and could see the service calls you made and then I watched your business grow. You had an ease and mannerism to connect with people.
May you rest in eternal peace. God bless you son!
Love, Dad

DO NOT DELETE!!!
Rick was my husband of 21 years and the father of 3 beautiful and amazing daughters. He had a big heart, beautiful smile, a gentle face, and was as mellow as they come. Good natured and was always willing to help others whether it be with their appliances, repairs around the house, their cars, you name it he was always willing to help. His customers loved him they’ve been telling me how he was always kind and honest and willing to go that extra mile for them. Your wings were ready but our hearts were not. RIP. We Love you! Love, Chrissy, Nicole, Angelina & Gabriella xoxo

I love you my brother! I will miss our conversations; our catch-up calls when we were both driving; taking care of our families and our business ~ we were always on the go. How lucky I was to grow up with two big brothers! I always had someone to take care of me and watch over me. I take solace that Mom and you are reminiscing over a cup of coffee, listening to some great tunes, and feeling the love of mother and son in each other’s arms.

'Rick Had (IT)’
by Denis Velez
Rick is my nephew, my sister’s second son, she also has a daughter, Julie who is the only nice on my side of the family. I happen to be her godfather as well and that makes me proud that my sister would have chosen me to be a godparent at the young age I was at the time. Now it makes perfect sense to me, my sister Margaret was preparing us for the future.
When I say Rick had, ‘IT’, I think in terms of Elvis, the Beatles, Tom Cruise, they have ‘IT’ a charisma a hypnotizing charm and self-confidence about them that attracts people to them. I grew up in the late 50s early 60s, I was a Beatle fan and I wanted to become a Beatle very much. I remember Rick with his ‘IT’ and a gorgeous head of jet black hair and he grew it long like the Beatles, wow I loved to see him spin his head around trying to keep his hair out of his face, like the Beatles, I loved that! I had long black curly hair so you can imagine my hair frustration.
I had a band during Rick’s early years and when I visited my sister and her family Rick would call me to the side and ask me to show him some chords on the guitar, so we would go to his room and jam a little while his older brother Eddy looked on shaking his head. I said to myself if Rick gets really good at this guitar thing, with his personality and his ‘IT’ and great looking hair, he just may be able to make it in music.
The reason I stopped calling him Ricky is because he asked me to, “Uncle Denis, do you mind calling me Rick instead of Ricky?” he asked while strumming the guitar. We locked eyes and I understood, “No, no problem Rick.” we smiled.

My brother-in- law, Rick, with his beautiful smile, easy going personality, charming way of looking at things, I will miss him.
I knew Ricky for as long as I have known Eddy, more than 40 years. One of the earliest memories I have of Ricky is of him being a talented mechanic.
He was very knowledgeable and willing to help anyone. We all had our used cars and I remember Ricky helping change carburetors and alternators on our cars. He would always tell me the mechanics behind it, wanting to share his knowledge. Rick was the best man at Eddy and my wedding.
Ricky moved onto other repairs, doing appliances. I remember how he was always looking out for everyone. Once when he and his family came to visit me and Eddy in our new home, upstate, NY, Rick just casually took a look at the back of our washing machine. He found that one of the hoses was worn out badly and would probably have burst. A little tiny gesture like that saved a big headache for me.
There was another time that my washing machine was leaking from underneath and Ricky actually talked us through doing the repair ourselves since we did live a distance away from each other. If Ricky could have helped everyone, I think he would have.
I will always remember Ricky for his big heart, and infectious laugh. He did brighten the lives of some many people.
