Obituary
My father, Michael Adrian Bestwina was born April 3rd, 1952.
The son of Sylvester and Odette Bestwina. Older brother to Larry and Rowland. Devoted father to Michael, Christine and Nicole. Beloved grandfather to kaley, Tommy, Joey, gabby, Danny and Michael.
He grew up in queens ny where he graduated from Jamaica h.s. He met and married my mother Denise. They met at Dan's supermarket. Who knew they would share a life and children together? He was an operations engineer specializing in refrigeration and was a member of Local 30.
My father was an avid animal lover. He would always bring stray cats and dogs home, much to my mothers dismay at times. But we knew he just wanted to care for them and give them a loving home.
A passion of my fathers was to create beautiful gardens. He knew how to pick out the right plants, flowers, trees and design a beautiful landscape.
Another passion of my father was his love for cars. This started with a Challenger, progressed to a Corvette and lead to a Grand National and at the same time, he had a love for Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He also loved anything having to do with Eagles.
My father lived his life caring for all others and doting on those who came into his life selflessly.
No matter what direction life pulled my mother and father in, They remained the closest of friends.
We will miss you dad and we know you will be watching over us from above.
