What can I say about my Mom that hasn't been said. She was all things to all people! She selflessly served and truly led a Christian life.Looking back, for me personally she was always a comforting support especially at the death of my son,Andrew and during the illness and death of my husband Roy from brain cancer. It meant so much. She always too had a special place in her heart for my daughter Laura who has Down Syndrome and is now my quarantine partner.I was so saddened to watch as dementia took over her usually sharp mind.Slowly she could no longer do her crosswords, watch TV, play all her numerous games or even say her rosary.Over the last few years as I came to visit and shop twice a week, I would never know what old story she might tell me.I was very thankful that she always knew who I was and enjoyed our visits. While I am sad that she died in these times and deserved the BEST of funerals, I am glad that in the end she did not suffer and left us peacefully. She surely must be Heaven's newest angel! All my love, Ginny

When I first went to help Ms.Clare, I introduced myself and told her why I was there, she said welcome. She was so quiet, pleasant and, kind. She said to make yourself at home along with a warm smile that made me feel welcome. At night, she wanted to be left alone in order to pray for her children, family members, and church members. I am so blessed to have known her. Her children Ginny, Judy, Patti, Chris, and Bill. Each and every single one treated me with respect and love. I truly will Ms. Clare. Thank you all. She is gone but never forgotten. May her soul Rest In Peace.

I have so many huge memories of my grandmother. Seeing her smiling at my wedding. The day she met my first born and watching them look at each other. But really the memories that I’ll cherish most are the little ones. Walking to the candy store and getting to pick out our favorite candy. Driving with her to Christmas shop after Grandpa died. Watching her iron for my mom who hated it with a smile on her face. You could not come to her House and not eat, not play games, not sing along to the Christmas songs. It was always soooo hot we would all joke and go walk around the block and when we came back we would eat dessert. She always wore fancy shoes. I remember doing a charity walk with her and she wore loafers and panty hose! She was adorable. One year when we went to the Lake I was lucky enough to be her roommate. She was a wonderful roommate. We both went to bed early and rose with the sun and I realized hmmm maybe I’m a little like her. How do you really put a lifetime into words?? She was just a part of me. And as with
Most things I didn’t always realize how lucky I was but i will truly miss spending time with her. I could listen to her stories about watching the Northern State Parkway being built and figuring out that she really loved Grandpa and how her mother cane home one day with her wedding dress and that was that. She was full of life and gave everything in her heart to us. I’ll never live another day not trying to live exactly like that. Thank you for loving me just the way I needed to be loved and teaching me that family isn’t just everything it’s the only thing. I’ll miss you.
