To my mom, who was always with me all my life. We were together through thick and thin taking care of each other. I never wanted for anything like this to happen. To the woman that I’d do anything in this world for. You fought for so long and I couldn’t be more proud. I lost a piece of my heart. A special bond that cant be replaced. Ever since I was little, you used to tell me how excited you were to watch me grow up and become something special. All of my life, I cherished every moment I had with you. Your goal was to make sure everyone in this family was happy and you accomplished that. You kept this family together and I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for all of us especially me. I’m beyond thankful to have your name, & for being the first girl in this family that you held. My whole life you were right next to me and I have no idea what I’m going to do without you. You’re my whole life, heart & soul all in one. What hurts the most is that I never got to say goodbye, that’s what I was scared of the most. My biggest fear came true, but I know you’ll be my #1 guardian angel watching over me every step of the way. I love you nonna & I’m gonna try to stay strong for you but this hurt me. This hurt me so bad. Fly high my beautiful angel. Ti amerò per sempre.

To my beautiful grandmother ofcourse, whether it was when you had a cooking utensil in your hand, your grandchildren by your side, or a garden hose in your hand bright and early in the morning, you always shined. My sweet Nonna, I love you more than the world. You put yourself before anyone and had the heart of absolute gold. You put a smile on my face everytime we were together and I always enjoyed dancing with you and watching you do what you loved best and that was tend to the garden. I know you are watching over all of us and I wish I could’ve been there with you to tell you I loved you and say goodbye. Having lost you during a time like this shattered my heart which makes all of this that much harder.
