Robert Ogenio was a great man who truly embodied the phrase “Love Thy Neighbor.” Always there with a helping hand, Robert was a pillar of his community. He would drive his neighbors to the airport, take them to their doctors’ appointments, help with grocery shopping, and cut their lawn. He was a kind man who understood the value of community and supporting others. At home, he was a beloved and attentive husband and father. Robert brought warmth, light, and an abundant joyful energy to his family and all who knew him. Robert took great joy in taking care of his family and meeting their needs. He was always there with a helping hand and unwavering support. Proud of his Curaçao heritage, Robert was hardworking, loved life, and had a zeal for politics. Robert loved to workout at the gym with his wife and this became their routine. One of eight children, Robert is survived by his wife Margarette, his daughter Naike, and six siblings. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Robert is greatly loved and will always be remembered.
