Thank you for being a great brother. Mom and dad enjoyed all the great things you did for them. I remember mom reminiscing about your visits at the nursing home, and the lunches you would have with her. You always put your family first, I will always appreciate how you were always there for me and my family. Thank you for taking care of the odd jobs I couldn’t do on my own.

My sincerest condolences of love and prayers surround Doreen and all the family and friends of the Goldfuss and McQuaid families at this moment of Patrick's birth into Life-Eternal.
I proudly, yet humbly, share with my cousin Patrick our common roots of Irish-Heritage steeped always in the depths of the faith of St. Patrick himself. I am sure of the great 'embrace of welcome' that awaits Patrick and us all.
I am grateful to have known Patrick's special gift for his journey, DOREEN, who with Patrick passed on another generation to share, as it was so beautifully posted: "their love, strength and faith as something to aspire."
Be assured of my continued prayers at the ALTAR...I'm here for you.

I think you always love anyone who understands and loves your children. Pat was an uncle that loved his nephews. He taught my sons, Matt and Greg to ski, took them on motorcycle rides and would greet them with his deep signature phrase, “How’s it goin’boys?” I will miss our birthday calls, his jokes, his advice on my house projects. He was a man rich in family with four children and grandchildren he loved and adored. Doreen, we are so sorry for your loss. You have our heart and sympathy. Love you all, Maureen and Peter.

Last Christmas Eve I had the privilege to meet Pat when I was invited into his family’s home for dinner. He had such wonderful stories to share and made me feel truly welcome. I wish I had the opportunity to get to know him more and I’m deeply sorry for his family’s loss.

I grew up across the street from the McQuaid’s and spent most of my childhood over there. Pat was a kind and caring man, he always made me laugh. I can hear his voice now “Hey Nic how’s it going”. From when I asked for kristies hand in marriage and you said and I quote “see that door don’t let it hit you in the ass on your way out “ to comforting each other when we buried our fathers. One thing I’ll remember about Pat is that when he spoke he took his time which is the sign of a smart man. I didn’t get to see him much over the past few years, now I wish I had. I can still hear him saying stop by anytime and stop by more often.
