Joe. We have been far apart for so many years. But Facebook kept us connected all along. The pictures of you and Eileen always brought a smile to my face. The pictures of Eileen with her children and her grandchildren was such a display of love and joy that was always a delight. My heart aches for you and your children and grandchildren. The loss is huge, but what a legacy. She and you all, will be in our prayers. Kevin & Terry O’Grady

Dear Tara: Our deepest sympathies to you and your family. You have been friends with Danielle for a very long time and I always remember when I would drop off or pick up danielle at your house your mom always came out and greeted me. She always had a smile on her face and she was always so sweet and kind. There were many times that your Mom and I ran into each other in East Meadow. I always enjoyed talking with her. She always came across to me as a very sweet, kind and thoughtful person that would do anything for you if she could. She did have a huge heart and she was always good to Danielle. I know Danielle has beautiful memories of your Mom and with both of our memories together we will always treasure those times. She was a great Mom and a loving and caring grandmother to her grandchildren. I’m so sorry that she was taken from you so soon. She had many more great years to live here with you and your family. God bless you and your family and may he give you the strength you need to help you thru this difficult time. You will all gather together and share stories and memories and those stories and memories will keep her spirit alive and she will always be with you. She is in a place now where there is no pain or suffering and she will be watching over all of her loved ones and friends. She is an angel in heaven watching over everyone. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and loved her. I know I speak for myself and Danielle that we will keep your Mom in our thoughts and prayers and in our hearts forever. May she Rest In Peace.

Dear Grandma,
i am so grateful for the 14 years i got to spend with you. You showed me what it feels like to be unconditionally loved. You have the kindest, happiest, funniest, strongest, smartest, selfless, and most beautiful soul. You lived a beautiful life and you were always so happy. I’ll miss going to the beach and the pool together in the summer and eating chicken fingers at the snack bar. I’ll miss your hugs and kisses, I’ll miss reading to you at night and going shopping at the mall. I’ll miss you in the stands cheering for me at every single one of my basketball games and swim meets. It made me so happy when you would come. I loved making you proud, even though i knew you were always proud of me. No matter what. I’ll miss watching TV with you and laughing at the stupid commercials. You always used to say “I’m so glad i’m your grandma.” Grandma, i’m so glad that i had the privilege of being your granddaughter. I will miss you so so much. Endlessly. Thank you for always being patient with my sass. I admire how much you cared about your family, and how if we were happy, you were happy too. You were so caring, loving and so so selfless. I love you so much grandma, infinite amounts. I’m so sad that you had to go so soon. But i’m happy you are in a better place now. You always made me so happy and i look forward to seeing you again someday.
with love always,
grace ❤️

Eileen,
I don’t even know where to begin. You were a second mother to me. Our families have known each other since you and Joe moved into the neighborhood next to my parents about 47 years ago. I am at a loss for words. I have so many memories that I will cherish forever. You were the kindest, nicest person. I will never forget our beach days, bologna sandwiches so thick you would hear the squishy sound, birthday parties with the surprise under the plate that I would always want to win. You were an amazing mother, sister, grandma and wife. I will never forget you. I love you and I hope you Rest In Peace. Until we meet again Eileen. You will always be remembered. ❤️
Love Kristi
