I’m so sad to have heard of Art’s passing. Forever nicknamed “Party Artie” for his legendary NYs celebrations, he was such a fixture in our neighborhood. He was the mayor and he knew everyone and where they lived and all the best gossip!
We all waved at him from his morning perch on his deck and he stopped me each time I went for a run to come show me work he had done on his home. He was so proud of his house.
A lover of all dogs, he dog-sat for me on a few occasions, once offered to adopt a dog I found, and I pray he has found his beloved Bugsy in heaven.
He will be so missed, our neighborhood will never be the same!
