Barbara was always a warm and caring woman who always had a kind word and a smile for all who encountered her. My kids, Jenna and Michael, were lucky enough to grow up next door to Barbara and her late husband Bob in East Meadow and to this day still refer to them as "Aunt Barbara and Uncle Bob". Even though they moved away a number of years ago they kept in touch with Barbara and invited her over for various holidays, kids birthdays, etc. and she was always a pleasure to be around. I'm glad Barbara is not suffering any longer and is in a better place, reunited with "Uncle Bob". May she rest in peace.
