Dear Eileen,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I know how hard and untiring your efforts were in caring for your mom and your dad. I had a relatively short experience caring for my own mom during her early stages of dementia. She’s is still hanging on at 91 years of age. Only God knows all that we go through mentally and emotionally but somehow, he gives us the strength we need. I’d like you to take comfort in the wonderful future blessing of the resurrection hope that Jesus sacrifice made possible for us written in the bible at John 5:28,29. Until that time comes, reflect on your mom's wonderful loving qualities and sweet memories as this will help you get through this hard time.
Your mom is in God’s memory now and so is your loving self-sacrificing role you played as care giver for both of your dear parents. Our creator never forgets the good that we do for others but especially for our birth parents.
