Poppy , your smile and eyes would light up the whole room , especially when you would talk about “your Anna” , My James Ryan was one lucky great grandchild to know his great grandfather . I love you and will miss you so much , I will miss sitting at a dinner table with you while we are all having conversations as a family , looking up to see that you were about to say something , so stern so serious and then there it was! You always had a way of telling the most hilarious (and most of the time time inappropriate jokes) the best ones ; I will truly miss those, I will miss you , but I will think of all the great times over the years. A patient at work today , an older one , we were about to do his x-rays and there it was, “ I have a joke for you miss” and that older man told his joke and I laughed and smiled with tears in my eyes because I knew right there in that second that you were okay and in heaven celebrating telling jokes in heaven with the love of your life and loved ones. I love you poppy and so does your great grandson , Rest In Peace and keep everyone laughing up there and don’t forget about all those stories you used to tell us
