Mr Draiss..You were a big of my life growing up. I’ll always remember the good old days when you and my father would sit singing Irish songs together. You will be forever missed.
May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.☘️

Larry was a good friend, he loved his family and his beautiful wife Jeanie. We had many good times together, from singing at the casino to sharing politics, I think about him all day long and miss him very much. Who can forget the 67 when it comes to horse racing or the song, "You got a lot of nerve, to talk behind my back." I love you my Friend and look forward to seeing you again someday. I don't think some of my jokes i can say in Heaven and have a Corona with lime but we won't need them at that point. May God Bless his Family and May God have a Special place in Heaven for my friend Larry! Tears in my eyes as I wrote this!

Mr. Draiss "One of these Days" our song..I will always remember you and I will always cherish our memories, forever. You and Mrs. Draiss, were my fathers best friends and a huge part of our lives. You mean the world to me.. I LOVE you so much. I can close my eyes and just see us all back on Langdon Street, with your white Chrysler Le Baron. I would hear it and run to the window to see you pulling up your driveway. You would take us to get rolls down to the bakery by Brentwood right down Commack road. I remember you and my dad together, singing sitting on a bench in your yard. I loved going to your house. I would just run across the street. It was a comfort place for me. I always loved your home. Mrs. Draiss I love you, Im so sorry. You and Mr. Draiss were always inseparable. Since the day I was born we were neighbors but felt like family. We keep in touch here and there with our busy lives (thank god for Facebook) and we will always have a silent bond. We are huge apart of each other so it doesn't matter how long its been since we saw each other. We will always feel the same about each other that you cannot change, we are blessed with that.. So, of course my favorite all time memory of me and you will always be when you would sing "One of these Days" to me.. That is engraved into my heart and etched into my being and it will be FOREVER. Thank you for a lifetime of amazing memories. I LOVE you more then words. Rest easy and watch over us all. XOXO
Always,
Christie Healy Bartilucci, Langdon Street

Grandpa, I don't even know where to begin. Thank you for all the memories and all the teachings you passed me & all your Grandchildren. From teaching me how to play baseball and just watching sports or having a catch and most importantly how to act in a manor of being a man, you truly taught us more then you could ever imagine. Grandma told me about how excited you are for our wedding next March. I know you will still be right there with us right next to grandma! You might be gone now but you will always be remembered and be with us in spirt. Until we see you again grandpa i love you very much and can’t wait to see you again! But until then watch over us and protect us. Love Always & Forever ~ Matthew & Emma
