Cherished grandfather of Jacqueline Vincent, Timothy Thornton, James Tormey, Kara Thornton, Trevor Vincent, Trey Thornton, Stephanie Vincent, Shane James Thornton, Paige Vincent, Grace Clare Tormey, Kate Joan Tormey, Pace Milton, Noel Milton, and Kyle Thornton. Adored brother of the late Dr. Robert Emmet Tormey DDS (Nancy), the late John E. Tormey, and William G. Tormey. Proud US Air Force Physician SAC. Dedicated physician at Mercy Medical Center since 1960 where he served as the director of the OB-GYN department from 1976-1989. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 10 am, at St. Joseph R.C. Church in Garden City, NY.
