So sorry to hear about Lou’s passing! My uncle owned the liquor store years ago next door, and I shopped at Tamilio’s for all these years. Lou was so helpful and kind, and always asked about my family. We are so saddened by this news and will miss you all so much.

I also just heard this unbelievable loss of a great person who left this earth too early. I believe there is another place that good people are needed. Unfortunately we will never understand till it’s our time. Louie was a super great generous kind caring person. Anyone that had contact with him would know. My deepest condolences to the entire family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. A memorial was on Facebook yesterday, I would have attended the services. Louis was so young and a big part of our community. I will miss the great advice he shared with me over the years.
The nursery has been a main staple in our neighborhood. My mother would request a gift certificates from the nursery, since this is where she would shop lovingly all season. Your family leaving the area will be the second great loss, we looked forward to Mother’s Day and your wonderful choices for my annual garden.
Tamilio will always be a name what will be associated with beautiful flowers. I hope you find other green areas, your spot will be missed here in Brooklyn.
Regards to Arizona family,
Jill Hochberg Martino

I am very fortunate to have shared your friendship from the first day we met at St Bernard's over 40 years ago.
Sharing the McCahey Christmas Tree tradition with you and your family on Ave U is something already passed on to my Grandkids.
My heartfelt condolences to All.
I miss you pal. We all do.
