Obituary

Frederick F. Schnettler of East Meadow, NY entered into eternal rest November 17, 2018, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Maria. Loving father of Elizabeth Kennedy (Kevin), Max Schnettler and Thomas Schnettler (Sandy). Cherished grandfather of Angelina and Christina. Proud veteran of the United States Air Force, proudly serving in World War II and the Korean War, as part of the K-9 Unit. Actively involved with the Berlin Airlift. Devoted volunteer whose mission was to provide help and assistance to disabled veterans at various nursing homes throughout Nassau County. Family will receive friends Monday, 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm, at the Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Home, 2515 N. Jerusalem Rd. (Exit 25N SS PKWY) East Meadow, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, 10:15 am, at Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Merrick, NY. Cremation Private.
