SCHMIDT- George of Levittown, NY & Naples, Fl entered into eternal rest Friday, November 2nd at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Mary Murphy Schmidt. Loving father of Robert (Ana), William (Kelly), Christopher (Kristen) and Thomas (Donna). Adored grandfather of eight. Cherished brother of Robert (Barbara), John (Patricia) and the late Vivian E. Family will receive friends Wednesday 2-5pm and 7-9pm at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Avenue (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 10am at St. Bernards R.C. Church, Levittown, NY with an interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
