My Grandma was seriously one of the best people to ever walk this Earth. She has definitely lived a full and wonderful life. She was always such a huge part of my life. I could always count on her for anything. My Grandma really was like a 3rd parent to me. After both my parents passed she was a big form of support for my brother and I. We really couldn't have done it without her. I remember how my brother would give her a hard time and joke with her just to get her to laugh. He would mock her for saying things like "CarAAbaas" lol I can hear her laugh now... I remember the pure joy she would have just having us over for dinner. She was happiest when she was with family. The enjoyed her trips up to New York to see my Aunt's, Uncle's and cousins. She loved every single one of them unconditionally. And the trips we went on!! You can always count on her to show you how to pee while on the road lol. That woman traveled!! She even went alone . She would meet people everywhere she went. When you walked into her house she had pictures of her grandkids EVERYWHERE!!! She was probably the world's proudest grandmother. Pictures of Jillian, Micheal, Sarah, me, Kerry, Anna, Christopher, Catherine, Ashlee, Matthew and Keith. Everywhere. She loved all of us exactly the same. Even the ones she never got to see. When she lived in Florida she was a member of everything!!! Substitute teacher, Guardian Ad Litem, CCD teacher, the writers group, took blood pressure at the church, Eucharistic minister, and going out to lunch and dinner with her friends. I remember she use to talk about everyone lol. She would talk about them and roll her eyes but she still loved them. My grandmother use to drive me nuts!!! Now I see she just always wanted what was best for me. She was willing to do whatever it took to make it happen. A lot of who I am today I owe to her. I couldn't have done it without her. My heart hurts so much. Probably a little more than when my parents passed. She was such a big part of me. I don't know how I'm going to do life without her but I'm going to do it. I will always think of her. The other day it was the weirdest thing, I had a strong feeling to just want to be at her house, with her there, sitting on her couch with a sheet over it watching law and order with her. I just wanted to have that feeling you get when you're back "home". After all , that was the closest thing I had to that. I would give anything to hear "oh my bones" when she got up. Or to look over at her on a couch with her napping sitting up with her mouth open and say " Grandma" and she would say "what?!?!" And I would say " you fell asleep" and she would say "no I'm just resting my eyes" lol. I miss her so much. My heart is broken... It will never be the same. I love you Grandma!!! Say hey to Mom and Dad for me. I know you must be so happy to see Mommy and Pop Pop again. ❤️❤️❤️
