When I was very young I met Laurie Ann. She was always so kind hearted. Had a smile that would truly light up the room. She always made you feel comfortable and welcome no matter who you were. I was simply just the step grandchild of her neighbors across the street and she made me feel like family. Over the years she would be there even when my grandparents passed she always knew what to say. I cried so hard and she held me and said my grandma was up in heaven with my grandpa and he waited ten years for her. I will never forget how she positively impacted my life as well as my families life. She was a beautiful soul. The kind of person who goes out of their way on a limb. My parents were in Florida and our grill blew over from the wind and as soon as I was the least bit startled she came running over to check on me to make sure I was okay that really made me feel peace and it actually made me feel very special and that is truly my last memory discussing that I was okay in the message and her last words were if you ever need me for anything never hesitate to call or come right over. She was truly an angel and she will never be forgotten. Love you Laurie Ann. Will miss you RIP.-Brooke

Laurie Ann, I met many moons ago. We were on vacation in the Bahamas. She and I did arts and crafts sales. She made such beautiful photo albums. She was my top sales person for Christmas around the world. Were she did such a wonderful job. She won a trip to Hawaii. She always had a beautiful smile and a heart of gold. Rest in peace my friend.

My heart breaks for her family. Laurie has been a friend of mine since we were 12 years old. We lost touch over the years and reconnected several years ago. I have so many wonderful memories of us over the years and will miss her so much. I was blessed to have her in my life and am very happy we spent time together two weeks ago. My heart is broken for the family, her precious girls and all who were lucky enough to know her. She was one of a kind and will never be forgotten. She was like an angel to me upon the unexpected loss of my husband 7 years ago and continued to always reach out and be there with exactly the right thing to say or to just give a hug when it was needed.
