From the days you called me peanut to the recent years when I was pregnant with Nicholas and you shared your own motherhood stories with me, you will forever be in my heart. I will treasure the sweater and blanket you made for Nicholas. I wish you could have seen him in person. Like my mom said, with Grandma Anna gone you took on our surrogate grandmother role. I loved reconnecting with you the past few years since I became a mom and will miss talking to you and hearing your voice. We love you Aunt Gen. Rest in peace.

Our hearts are heavy that we will no longer be able to talk to you and share our stories of recipes, holiday memories, our aches and pains and and your weather related reports during snow storms and hurricanes. :) You were more than an Aunt you were our surrogate mother in the years after we lost our mother Anna. Your were the end of the Fascigone era and I know that there must be a fabulous reunion now that you are with them. RIP Aunt Gen. You will never be forgotten. Love you
