In loving memory of a caring, thoughtful, mindful seeker of the best that we can hope for in our lives. Drena was an inspiration and comfort to so many of us as we have journeyed over the lifelong struggle that education requires of each of us -- whether we are teachers or students. Drena had a well-balanced measured perspective that provided those around her a sense of comfort and satisfaction with what we were doing. Thank you, Drena, for sharing that perspective with us.

Drena was a dedicated teacher and wonderful colleague. I'm sure her students appreciated her sense of humor and caring spirit as much as the faculty did. She will be sorely missed in the teacher's room. My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

Drena was a loving sister and my only sibling. She along with Jennifer, Alisha and Fernando fought a tough 5 year battle. I truly thank them for the love and care they gave Drena.
