It is so difficult to believe Jeanne is gone. It was only a few months ago that Jeanne hosted our Mini-Makers meeting where we watched her making pizzas for all of us to enjoy. Her passing was all too fast, especially in knowing how active she was in going to Red Hats, Nurses' luncheons, the gym pool, physical therapy, and doing her own shopping. Jeanne was an inspiration to many of us, especially in sharing her expertise in the miniature world as was reflected in her mini projects. As we all know, Jeanne did beautiful work! Her room boxes, vignettes and flowers were by far some of the best I've seen. Many times we would marvel at her latest project, which she would display for 'show and tell'. Some of us can recall Jeanne walking around at IGMA or Philadelphia Miniaturia with her pad and pencil in hand sketching some mini that peaked her interest. Within a short time, she would convert her sketch into one of her masterpieces. She was amazing! As some of you know, Jeanne never got over the loss of her daughter, Eileen. I am sure she was reunited with Eileen, her husband, Tom, and her parents who were there to greet her. That would have brought her so much joy. Rest in peace Jeanne! Love, Carol Tobin
