I still reflect on the glory days of lacrosse and my brothers days of football. This man was truly special and will remain in the hearts of athletes and the community forever. I spent a lot of time in his office in high school and I will never forget what I have learned from him. My memories only bring smiles. May he rest in forever in peace.

From the first day I met John, I knew what a special person he was. He was always warm & friendly and had a dry sense of humor. I am in deep regret of knowing that your gone from your family and all of us that knew you so well! You were the most caring human being for all the kids in school. You had a job but it was more than that. “ You were the father of all of them including my daughter Patricia I.” Many times I had spoken to you regarding problems I had with her and you had given me hope in many good choices; just like a family member.
