Obituary
Christina Tashie was surrounded by her loving family as she passed peacefully on January 2, 2018 at the age of 92. Christina was the beloved mother of Ellen, Carol, Demetri, and George, the cherished mother-in-law of Frank, Dennis, Barry, and Nancy, and the adored Yiayia of Jessica, Erick, Anna, and Lucy. She was a loving sister and sister-in-law and a special aunt to her many nieces and nephews. But no one loved Christina more than her treasured husband John, who has been waiting for her to join him in paradise since 2002.
Viewing will be held at Albrecht, Bruno, and O’Shea Funeral Home in East Islip on Sunday January 7th from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Blue Point on Monday, January 8th at 10:30am, followed by internment at Calverton National Cemetery.
