Doug Sachman called me with the news of Bobby's passing. It brought back a flood of memories from Tangle Lane. Bobby was a unique guy. Lived life his way. I still remember staying at his place and being in the room with the TV, his chair front and center, and his baseball card collection. You could see him sitting in the chair and having a beer and a smoke. He will be missed.
I also remember Bobby taking me through his notebook with his stock purchases. He was an astute stock picker. Lots of solid research and a focus on fundamentals. Incredible.
