I met John this summer when he graciously hired me to be in this years musical revue. We immediately hit it off and performing under his leadership was a delight that I have not experienced for years. He was kind and sweet and enthusiastic. I am only sorry I just met him a few months ago, but how lucky was I to encounter such a dear man. Lucky were all of us.

I have such wonderful memories of John Pane. If it wasn't for him I would never have stepped foot on a stage. How I loved the time spent performing with friends, and sometimes playing jokes on them during live performances (Which was of course encourage by John). I will be forever grateful to him for believing in me even when I didn't believe in myself. My heart is saddened by his loss and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Family Chain
We little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved your dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.

John was such a wonderful man and mentor to so many. Thirty years ago he took my son under his wing and gave him a chance when others would not...and that made all the difference. I am eternally grateful to him and so glad we were able to reconnect in the past few years. He will always hold a special place in my heart. May he Rest In Peace. My deepest condolences to his loving family.
