Paul was my room mate at the University of Bridgeport for 2.5 years (1965-1968). My memories of him and the times we shared there will remain with me forever. I left school in 1968 and was drafted in early 1969. We communicated sparingly and eventually lost contact with one another. I started searching for him several years ago but was unsuccessful. A recent random Google search divulged his obit. To say I was shocked would have been an understatement. I still regret not initiating my search for him years earlier. Please know Paul was a good friend then as I am sure he was to all who knew him.

Paul was a great person and Probation Officer. I met him several times locally in the hardware store where he stated he now had time to do some of the projects he was unable to complete while he was employed. I hope he was successful. I extend my sincere condolences to his family and pray for God's blessings as you remember a special person.

Our sincere condolences to the Legrande family. It was our honor and privilege to have known Paul and worked with him for 35 years. His warmth and sense of humor will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to the family. Paul was a special man. I worked with him for several years at the Probation Department. He was always pleasant, helpful and at times quite funny. He was a mentor to me and many others. He will surely be missed! Rest in Peace.
