My mom loved to talk about how she came to this country with $2 in her pocket. How her Chocolate Normandy made for the famous Billy Rose got her everything in life. She was the Executive Chef of Gourmet Magazine, the private Chef for Jackie Kennedy and swears she taught John John how to fight. Danny Kaye helped her open up Annemarie's Cooking School which soon transformed into Annemarie's Executive Dining Room. It was the first of its kind...before restaurants had their private dining. She also opened up the second (silver palate was first ) gourmet take out store in NYC. She wrote 6 cook books and said her German accent sounded charming. She was ahead of her time...and now it's her time. RIP mom and Oma to 4.....my kids have some serious Angels looking out for them!
