I like to send my deepest condolences to the Viscuse family. From the time I first met Vince he welcomed me with open arms without truly knowing me. A rarity amongst people nowadays. Vince always had such a positive disposition about him. And always knew how to make me laugh and smile even during some of my lowest points in life. I truly believe the man was impenetrable towards any negativity. I had such great times hanging out with Vince and the family. And to suddenly hear of the loss of such a great person truly took me back. Vince was really one of the great ones. My heart and prayers go out to the Viscuse family the world lost a tremendous individual.

To Mike, Anthony, Keith and Mr. & Mrs. Viscuse,
I wish I had something profound or comforting to say to help lessen the pain of losing Vin. Thank you for sharing him with us. I have so many wonderful memories of Vin, mostly at SBU and a bunch from Opening Days at Shea and Citi field. I still have my homemade paper "jersey" that he made for all of the college guys when they took on a formal "girlfriend"....Vin would "retire your jersey" in honor of you choosing a girl over the crowd of college buddies. He was so funny and always laughing. And that's how I will always remember him. He'll always be your son and he'll always be your big brother. He will ALWAYS be with you guys. Sending love and keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I feel both privledged and blessed to have spent some great times together. You are one of the most caring people I have ever met and your laughter was contagious to anyone around. Opening day at Citifield will not be the same without you next year. I feel lucky to have been able to enjoy the Allstar Game and World Series game with you and your brothers... So so sorry to hear about this. I had the pleasure of working with Vinny. He loved going to grandma's house for lunch on Fridays. He took a bunch of us with him for lunch one day. He was a good guy. Always made us laugh with his stories and loved being a soccer coach. May he rest in peace. Heaven is gaining a great one! My condolences to the whole family.
