Dear Friend Robert,
We were born in the same year. We lived on the same block in Astoria and were toddlers together. We attended the same grammar school, St. Patrick's, and were in the same class for eight years. We played stick ball, punch ball, kick-the-can, ring-a-levio, baseball and dollar hockey together. We never drifted apart as we grew older. We were best men at each of our weddings. We were there for each other through the marriages of our children, births, baptisms, communions and confirmations. Now you are gone. My heart aches from your going and for our loss.
All our love,
Artie & Sissy

Our deepest sympathy to the LaMontanaro family. " What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us what we have for others and the world remains and is immortal." A lifetime of memories will keep him in our hearts always. Rest in peace Mr. LaMont. The Cordovano Family.
